Users on online forum Reddit expressed sentiments over KCON LA 2023's Day 1. One user remarked:

"I attended the event because of my ult Taeyong, as well as WayV and Taemin. I enjoyed all of their performances, but I have to say that Taemin's performance was electrifying, and he got the most cheers at the event."

"It made me feel nostalgic because I got down K-pop's rabbit hole because of his dance practice for 'MOVE' and I also got him to see him live. I was so happy."

Meanwhile, another attendee stated how Taemin's attention-grabbing stages are unprecedented due to his longtime experience in the music industry.

Not only that, but by Taemin's performances alone, it commented that people can see how refined he is because of his talent and passion.

"Taemin (and SHINee altogether) is on a different level honestly. I'm not saying that anyone else's performance was less captivating, but when it comes to Taemin, you can visibly see the years of experience and his dedication to his craft."

"I just got out of KCON, and it was my fifth time seeing Taemin (perform) live. SHINee has already been in LA, and each time becomes better than the last."

"Even if you don't like SHINee or Taemin's songs, you will still end up liking them because of their vocals and stage performances."

On Twitter, numerous video clips were shared by fans who attended the con. The clips displayed Taemin's rave-worthy presence at the event, where most audiences were shown to be standing up and cheering for the "WANT" singer.

The clips also presented K-pop idols expressing their support for Taemin, solidifying his undoubted "Idol of Idols" title. Fans also voiced out how loud KCON LA 2023 was for Taemin and even concluded that he's indeed K-pop's ace.
