THIS 2nd-Gen K-pop Idol Exposed by GOT7 BamBam for Leaving Their 'Chaotic' Thai Line GC

In K-pop, many international artists have come to Korea and became idols. This includes many Thai idols as well, including BamBam of GOT7.

BamBam has always been known as a social butterfly, who is not afraid of making friends inside the hustling K-pop industry. Known for his loose demeanor, there are numerous Thai K-pop idols he's friends with, including BLACKPINK Lisa, (G)I-DLE Minnie, NCT Ten, and CLC Sorn.

Earlier in 2019, BamBam opened up on an interview with DONT Magazine, and discussed his friendship with other Thai idols in K-pop. The idol then mentioned that they have their own Thai group chat, showing their closeness with each other.

"Honestly, we have a Thai group chat, since we are close with each other. Our houses aren't that far in between, and we often meet." The group chat was also mentioned by Minnie on an interview with Eric Nam, where she guested with bandmate Yuqi. On July 18, Minnie shared that "Thaiguk line" was the name of the group chat, indicating she has also joined the GC as well.

On the 114th episode on a variety program by GoyNattyDream channel, BamBam was picked as the guest. During the trio's interview with BamBam, one of them asked him to discuss the "Thaiguk line" group chat and enumerated its members.   However, BamBam also revealed that 2PM Nichkhun was also a member but left after three days because the group chat was too chaotic for him!

BamBam: "(The group consists of) Minnie of (G)I-DLE, Lisa of BLACKPINK, and Sorn too, but she's moved to Singapore. Nichkhun joined the group, and he left after three days immediately. He said it was too chaotic, like, 'I will just let the kids play around here. I will leave.'"

It's also quite fun seeing BamBam poke fun at Nichkhun, who's also a good senior to him. Likewise, BamBam is also appreciative of Nichkhun's efforts in the K-pop industry and for paving the way for active Thai idols.
