Kim Chaewon's current health status has been revealed by Source Music through an open statement.

Here's what the agency disclosed.

LE SSERAFIM Chaewon to Resume Recovery After Being Diagnosed With Influenza

The singer's health condition has now been updated by Source Music.

Earlier on October 6, Source Music announced that three LE SSERAFIM members - Chaewon, Yunjin, and Kazuha - have been diagnosed with Type A Influenza. This led the group to cancel their upcoming Bangkok concerts scheduled for October 7 and 8.

"We regret to announce that the "2023 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'FLAME RISES IN BANGKOK' concerts scheduled for October 7 and 8 have been cancelled."

"On October 6, LE SSERAFIM members Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, and Kazuha were taken to the hospital due to abrupt fever and headaches. After being examined, they were diagnosed with Type A influenza."

On October 16, the agency released an official statement regarding Chaewon's current health status. According to their announcement, Chaewon added an extra visit to the hospital on October 13, Friday, when she was advised to rest by medical professionals.

Following this, Chaewon would be unable to participate in all of her schedules for the meantime, and that includes her "N-POP" pre-recording schedule that was scheduled for October 16.

Source Music also added that only four LE SSERAFIM members would be active in their schedules. The agency then assured fans that Chaewon's recovery will be prioritized for her to return in good health. Read their full statement below:

"Hello. This is SOURCE MUSIC.

We would like to update you about LE SSERAFIM member Kim Chaewon's current health condition, together with her upcoming plans.

Kim Chaewon is still recovering from Type A Influenza. However, Chaewon made an additional visit to the hospital on October 13, Friday, when she experienced constant dizziness. After her checkup, it was advised that Chaewon should take her time to rest.

This resulted in us concluding that her recovery should be the number one priority. Consequently, Kim Chaewon will not be making her participation in all activities temporarily, including the pre-recording of 'NPOP' that was scheduled for today.

As a result, only four LE SSERAFIM members will be active in the meantime, and we will update everyone regarding Chaewon's resumption of her activities.

We will continue to implement the highest priority on Chaewon's recovery for her to return in good health and meet fans in the future. Thank you."
