Source Music Defends LE SSERAFIM Kim Chaewon from Drug-Use Rumors

On October 26, LE SSREAFIM's agency Source Music officially released a statement denying the drug-use rumors made against Kim Chaewon.

According to Korean news outlets, Source Music denied all allegations of drug use surrounding Chaewon and updated that she was currently recovering from the flu's effects. Furthermore, the agency added that she'll return to her group activities on November 1.

"The rumors surrounding Kim Chaewon are not true at all. She is currently recovering from the aftereffects of the flu. She is scheduled to return to her schedules on November 1."

On October 25, it was reported the drug investigation team from the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency had booked BIGBANG G-Dragon without detention. The booking was made based on the violation of the Narcotics Control Act. Meanwhile, another celebrity also packed heat.

On October 19, the same legal unit conducted an internal investigation on actor Lee Sun Kyun regarding alleged drug charges. The ongoing investigation caused the actor to step down from the upcoming drama "No Way Out."
