However, one K-pop group had the unfortunate luck of experiencing circumstances that were out of their control. Disbanded girl group M.O.A debuted on February 20, 2015, under Professional Entertainment with their first single "I'll Call Ya."
With the group's girl crush concept for the song, everything seemed fine and their debut was good to go. Nevertheless, the release would've been immune to problems if it weren't for the production quality, which netizens deemed as lacking.

In their official MV for "I'll Call Ya," the video's visuals, and specifically its camera work, were considered to be all over the place and had consecutive abrupt transitions. The outcome was so jarring, KBS banned it from being broadcasted.

In the video's comments section, netizens reminisced how the MV once made virality due to its production. While some praised the girls for their efforts, they stated the video's visuals, choreography, and camerawork were the most criticized aspects.

After releasing their first digital single "Inception" and its title track "I'll Call Ya," M.O.A followed up their second digital single "Inception 1.5," alongside title track "Run For Your Dream" (feat. Yoo Seung Ok). The content was released on March 21, 2014.
