Jeon Somi, Park Bo Gum Confirmed as Hosts for 2023 MAMA Awards
On November 2, JTBC officially announced that Jeon Somi and Park Bo Gum will return as hosts for the 2023 MAMA Awards. According to sources, Jeon Somi will host the ceremony's Day 1 (November 28), while Park Bo Gum is assigned to the event's Day 2 (November 29).

CJ ENM's head of music content division, Shim Joon Beom, also shared a brief statement expressing enthusiasm over the inclusion of the two stars.
The official expressed how perfect Jeon Somi and Park Bo Gum are to pair up in the upcoming awards ceremony, as the two have joined forces in the previous MAMA Awards.
"We believe that the two of them, who have been together for the first year of the MAMA Awards' rebranding, are truly the perfect people to be icons that can convey the awards ceremony's value and message."

Shim Joon Beom added how the event is going to utilize new technology to communicate with international audiences while presenting a new variety of entertainment.
"As we have announced an interactive stage where fans can come together through K-pop this year, we are going to introduce new technology to communicate with the global audience in a new way, while providing them a variety of enjoyment."
The 2023 MAMA Awards will have the concept of "ONE I BORN," meaning that "I" is the infinite potential that will fuse with MAMA and become "ONE" with positive energy. The event will be held on November 28 and 29 at 6 p.m. KST, at the Tokyo Dome, in Japan.
While many artists are set to be awarded in numerous categories, fans are also expected to watch exciting performances of their favorite artists.

To fuel the anticipation, the 2023 MAMA Awards announced its first performer lineup on October 24. This included popular names such as ATEEZ, ZEROBASEONE, INI, NiziU, TVXQ, xikers, JO1, and RIIZE.
The second performer lineup was announced on October 31. The awards show added performing artists such as SEVENTEEN, TXT, LE SSERAFIM, (G)I-DLE, ENHYPEN, BOYNEXTDOOR, &TEAM, EL7Z UP, and the 'Street Woman Fighter 2' cast.
