Over Chinese SNS, an unexpected interview with GOT7 Jackson brought laughter to K-pop fans and netizens!
Recently, Jackson Wang, who's actively promoting as a soloist in China right now, became a hot topic after a Chinese media portal, Camping Time, shared a video interviewing the Hong Kong star and K-pop idol.
However, it turned out that the reporter was unaware of the person she was interviewing and ended up being trolled by the great prankster, Jackson!

In the video, the reporter was asking questions related to camping on the streets, thinking that he was just an ordinary passerby.
Understandably, contrary to his clean look and youthful appearance, Jackson appeared a little different due to his beard and slightly long hair. He was also wearing sunglasses, making it harder to recognize him in one glance if you're not a fan.
But no facial hair could hide his incredible looks, still shining out in the video among the other people who were interviewed.
Despite this, Jackson obliged amicably during the interview and answered questions related to camping. Just before the interview ended, the idol took the chance to promote his Halloween carnival in Shanghai and even invited her to visit them.
The clueless reporter continued to ask the idol what his job was and replied that he was a singer. At this rate, a passerby recognized him, and the reporter then confirmed if he was Jackson Wang.
Hearing this, Jackson naturally denied his true identity and said:
"No, but many people say I look very much like him."
The reporter finally thanked and parted ways with Jackson, and later learned from another person that the guy she really met was the real deal.
Reporter, Viewers Admire GOT7 Jackson's Personality
When the camping media portal shared the video, the reporter shared a short impression of the idol and said:
"While doing a camping interview on the streets of Shanghai, we unexpectedly met Jackson Wang at Wukang Road. He's truly a friendly citizen and he's so adorable!"
The reporter also confirmed that she didn't recognize him and would have probably asked a different question if she realized it earlier.
Internet users then praised Jackson for his humor and cuteness while chatting with reporters in a pleasant and comfortable manner. Despite being a global star, viewers lauded the idol for remaining humble although he could easily refuse the reporter to interview him in his free time outside work.
Meanwhile, GOT7 Jackson is currently on a world tour.
In 2022, Jackson's album "Magic Man" reached No. 15 on the U.S. chart and became the first Chinese and K-pop solo artist to appear on Coachella's main stage, one of the world's largest music festivals.
