On November 14, singer Crush appeared as a guest on veteran artist Sung Si Kyung's YouTube channel to promote the former's new album, "wonderego," released on the same day.
On this day, the two artists talked about music, songwriting, and their differences from idols. While on the topic of idols, Sung Si Kyung then indirectly mentioned Red Velvet Joy who is currently publicly dating Crush, embarrassing the singer.
In particular, after Sung Si Kyung listened to Crush's new song, he began to compliment him, saying:
"I love it. It's cool. It's different from your last music, but I think there's definitely a melody line that people will like. I realized there is a pop star like this in our country. It's really cool. I hope you do better.
I hope you become more popular than (ASTRO) Cha Eun Woo. So, I hope there will be more young kids who will say, 'I want to write songs and become like Crush,' not just for idols."
The veteran singer added:
"Idols are good, but there are so many of them. Everyone wants to be an idol. So you just have to become an artist and you just have to go out with idols."
Hearing this, Sung Si Kyung who indirectly mentioned Crush's relationship with Red Velvet Joy made the singer laugh in embarrassment, leaving Crush speechless and drinking beer instead.
As the conversation went on, it was Crush who teased Sung Si Kyung by asking:
"How do you fill the loneliness?"
But the veteran singer was quick to turn the table around by counter-asking:
"Stop it. You xxxx, you're not lonely, are you?"
Crush was flustered and stuttered while replying:
"Oh... I don't think so."
Following the broadcast, fans \concluded that Crush and Red Velvet Joy are still dating each other, given the male singer's response and gestures.
