In the segment "X why Z," released by Ilgan Sports, award-winning writer Lee Jae Guk (who won the "Broadcast Writer" trophy at the 2016 SBS Entertainment Awards) held a discussion with his daughter Lee Yeonwoo, who is highly invested in popular culture.
In the article, Taemin, the main dancer and youngest member of SHINee as well as a top-notch soloist, was featured, highlighting the reason he's loved and recognized as a role model of his juniors.
In particular, he earned the moniker "Idol of Idols" for being chosen as an inspiration for numerous younger K-pop stars and aspiring idols.
"Many rookie idols all chose Taemin as their role model in Pixid's content titled, "Finding SHINee Taemin, an idol with 16 years of experience among new idols.' Meanwhile, in the article about Taemin, TXT Yeonjun was mentioned when Yeonwoo was asked who the idol who will have a sky-high career is, if he debuts as a soloist just like SHINee Taemin.
She explained:
