On December 2, at 5 p.m., KST, the highly anticipated MelOn Music Awards took place at the INSPIRE Arena, at Yeongjongdo, Incheon.

The venue wa comprised of a seating capacity of 15,000, and was also the first-ever infrastructure exclusively dedicated for K-pop performances.

MelOn Music Awards 2023, also known as the 15th MelOn Music Awards, was graced by numerous artists from the K-pop industry and celebrities who enticed the audience as presenters.

The slogan declared "K-pop Changes the World," and this theme was the ultimate core of the evening, as everyone united the world at the ceremony, becoming one through the strength of music.

Meanwhile, the event was also aired through the MelOn app, Wavve, and Japan's ABEMA TV, giving viewers worldwide to witness the year-end Hallyu occasion.

As mentioned by MelOn, the only artists who were eligible to win were the ones who released music from November 4, 2022, to November 1, 2023.

To conclude the final ruling, the download and streaming counts were required for 80 percent, while the remaining 20 percent will come from votes.

The artists received the rewards for the night, and this consisted of categories such as Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Millions Top 10, and many more.
