K-Netz Debate Sakura & Kim Chaewon's Styling in IZ*ONE & LE SSERAFIM

Sakura and Chaewon have both been exposed to the idol industry for a while. Ever since their debut in IZ*ONE together, the two idols have garnered solid fanbases along the way through their talent, visuals, and charisma.

IZ*ONE sported a more elegant and aesthetic look, which is seen through its members' flawless styling and fashion. Sakura and Chaewon both exhibited "fairy-like" appearances during their time in IZ*ONE, much to the delight of many fans.

However, IZ*ONE disbanded on April 20, 2021, as they're a project girl group made by Mnet's survival reality show "Produce 48." This led the members to go their separate ways, with some debuting solo and others re-joining groups or taking on ventures outside of K-pop.

Eventually, Sakura and Chaewon made buzz on March 14, when Source Music, a subsidiary of HYBE Labels, officially announced that the two idols would be part of the agency. They eventually became part of the girl group LE SSERAFIM, who debuted on May 2, 2022.

LE SSERAFIM's concept and music took the two idols in a different course in terms of vibe, visuals, and image. In contrast to their pleasant appeal in IZ*ONE, Sakura and Chaewon's image was refined to a much bolder, sophisticated look, matching LE SSERAFIM's confident front.

On December 24, a thread was opened by a netizen, who mostly talked about Sakura's visuals in her IZ*ONE days. The post contained numerous photos of the Japanese idol, who stunned with graceful visuals and neat fashion.

The OP then mentioned that Sakura looked better with the Japanese "Cherry Princess" look.

"She looks way better with the Japanese cherry princess styling. It's because of the group's color," OP stated.

Korean netizens trailed in with their comments, agreeing to OP's claims. According to their sentiments, they also mentioned Chaewon alongside Sakura, stating that the two idols' styling looked better during their time in IZ*ONE.

•  "For real, I find Sakura and Kim Chaewon way prettier in their IZ*ONE days. They don't look pretty in LE SSERAFIM, but rather unique."

However, some disagreed with the others, saying that Chaewon's looks definitely improved in LE SSERAFIM, while Sakura was prettier in IZ*ONE. Some stated both looked better after joining the former.
