EXO-CBX to Join Forces with Baekhyun's Company I&B100 for Group, Solo Activities

On January 8, Korean news outlet Star News disclosed that Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin, also known as members of EXO's sub-unit CBX, would be promoting their solo and unit activities under Baekhyun's newly established company I&B100.

According to sources, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin still plan to shine together as members of EXO and engage in their usual endeavors under the agency.

I&B100 also shared a statement regarding the status of the three idols, alongside their resolve to showcase new sides as artists. The agency expressed enthusiasm over the unit's upcoming plans and asked fans to support their pursuits.

"This challenging quest began from the members' efforts and sincerity to approach their fans in a more creative way, closely and honestly," the agency shared. "We kindly ask for your warm encouragement and unwavering support for their change and growth through challenges."

I&B100 added, "Furthermore, we would like to ask for your support for group EXO and their activities as a group, which serves as the foundation for all of its members."

According to sources, CBX's plans under I&B100 would also serve as their next step in their profession, as it was based on their long-standing deliberations and aspirations for their career.

Moreover, this 2024, fans are expected to see more of Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin's content through solo albums, good music, and energetic performances, which would all be defining factors in expanding their reach to fans domestically and internationally.

Earlier on January 3, TenAsia reported that Baekhyun had founded his own company I&B100.

The idol-CEO initially established the agency back on June 23, 2023, and has also finalized the registration of its internal directors. Aside from Baekhyun, it also included Chen and Xiumin as well.

Although set to promote as CBX with I&B100, the contracts of Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin under SM Entertainment are still effective. However, SM approved the decision made by the three idols to find a new nest outside the agency.

Eris were more than happy to see the update from EXO-CBX and expressed their happiness on social media since the idols will have full creative freedom over their releases and quality schedule delegation.
