Could THIS fifth-gen idol be a lookalike of Kim Jaejoong?

Here's why netizens are divided over the rookie's comparison to the second-gen icon.

LUN8 Dohyun Touted as Kim Jaejoong's Lookalike, Comparison Ignites Debate Among K-pop Fans

On January 16, netizens gathered in an online community titled, "The rookie male idol who slightly reminds me of Hero Jaejoong during his debut days."

In the post, the author uploaded several photos of Jaejoong in his rookie days, flaunting a loose, hairstyle with spiky bangs covering his forehead, which was a common styling during the K-pop's early days. See the photos below:

The author then revealed that Dohyun of the fifth-gen K-pop boy group LUN8 somehow resembled the legendary idol. This was due to Dohyun's facial structure, alongside his almost-similar hairstyle with parted bangs, lip shape, and eyes.

However, in the comments section, K-netz disagreed with the author's claims. They remarked how Dohyun only looked like Jaejoong during the first few photos, as the resemblance faded when the idol was displayed in a different angle.

LUN8 made their debut on June 15, 2023, when they released their first mini album "Continue?" along with its double title tracks "Voyager" and Wild Heart."

The group is also under Fantagio, the agency of third-gen representative ASTRO. LUN8 is composed of eight members, namely Dohyun. Chael, Jinsu, Takuma, Junwoo, Ian, Ji Eunho, and Eun Seop.

On November 22, 2023, LUN8 debuted their first-ever sub-unit LUN8wave with digital single "Playground."
