Due to her reputation as a Jang Wonyoung lookalike, many took to social media to claim the actress was mocking the K-pop idol.
In 2021, Jang Wonyoung, along with her other IVE members, appeared on MBC's "Omniscient Interfering View." During the show, Jang Wonyoung was seen holding a strawberry with two hands and biting into it in a cute way.
After the clip went viral, many accused Jang Wonyoung of trying too hard to be pretty and being overly conscious of the camera.

Many Chinese internet users have slammed Zhao Lusi, saying she is trying too hard to copy Jang Wonyoung. This is not the first time this accusation has come out.
