On January 31, a netizen established a post, titled, "Joy's double eyelids got bigger in journalist photos, she looks like Moon Ga Young."

Meanwhile, Luvies also backed the idol up from the rumors of having a cosmetic procedure. Fans stated that Joy had used a double-eyelid tape. They also mentioned Joy's star power since she managed to go viral just by her eyes alone.
