In a recent show, Jessi hinted at her plans after leaving Jay Park's MORE VISION. However, fans are raising their brows against her "next move" due to her skills and personality. Why?

On February 3, "Hangout With You" cast visited Jessi's house, which is going to be alone during the Lunar New Year.

Aside from apparently launching her own label in 2024 to pursue her solo music endeavor, the singer-entertainer drew attention for revealing THIS unexpected plan.

Jessi Reveals She Will Pursue Music & Business in 2024 + Desire to Become Actress

On January 31, Jessi officially left MORE VISION, headed by Jay Park, after a discord rumor.

Since then, fans have been curious about what kind of career she will pursue after ending her exclusive contract with the company.

In the interview then, Jessi hinted at her 2024's plans, saying:

"My family is all in the U.S. I'm always at home, whether it's Lunar New Year or something else. I need to rest. I don't know what to do. There is no Lunar New Year in America. We say Happy New Year on January 1 and it's over.

 It's been 18 years since I debuted. (I plan to do) music, business, and acting. I think this is another challenge. It's very hard, but it's fun."

Regarding her music and business plans, she drew initial attention by posting a photo on her personal account on February 1, saying, "STAY TUNED," along with the caption, "The time is NOW!"

It earned more curiosity as she added the hashtag #BOSSMAMA.

Based on her reply when a fan asked if there would be a notice of recruitment for employees, it is most likely related to the launch of her own label.

"We will update related content soon."

Aside from this, Jessi is also planning to enter the acting industry, which she mentioned as her 2024's "next move" as well.

Jessi's Plans Raise Anticipation Due to Her Skills and Attitude

Amid the delight of fans with her plans, some showed high interest not because of her capabilities, but due to her unexpected move that contradicts her skills and attitude.

Starting with her plan to stand alone, fans are hoping that she should choose more carefully given that she has no practical experience doing business. Her unique free-spirited mind, lifestyle and intense music world are also risky as they might be an advantage or disadvantage, not only to her but to her team in the future.

Jessi's ambition to act also stands out since she doesn't have work to call a career yet. Jessi made an appearance under her own name in the TV CHOSUN sitcom "Somehow Family," which aired from March to June 21, 2020. She fought with Kim Jiseok (Seo Ji Seok) who was not good at being a neighborhood senior, in her poor Korean.

However, it was like a special appearance, and she failed to show an impactful performance.

Since then, she has acted in comedy as the host of the third season of the "SNL Korea" reboot, which was broadcast on Coupang Play. Other than that, she has no acting experience.

The fact that she mentioned "acting" as a plan for this year in person on the show means that there are works that are being talked about to some extent. As it is known that she is not good at Korean enough to know many words, the roles she can play are quite limited, thus, fans are paying keen attention.
