Is LE SSERAFIM Huh Yunjin Being Mistreated by Source Music?

On February 13, 2024, FEARNOTS took to Twitter to slam Source Music for mismanaging Huh Yunjin of LE SSERAFIM.

Fans had noticed that Huh Yunjin is the only member of LE SSERAFIM to not make an appearance on a variety show to promote "EASY." Many believe this is unfair, as she is often dubbed the "mood maker" of the group thanks to her bright, cheerful, and naturally funny personality.

Meanwhile, Chaewon has appeared on five variety shows: "Running Man," "Funstaurant," "Ddeun Ddeun," "Amazing Saturday," and "Psick."

Sakura appeared on "Running Man" and "Ddeun Ddeun," and Kazuha made an appearance on "Psick" and "Running Man." Maknae Hong Eunchae appeared on "Amazing Saturday."

As Source Music is capable of sending one, two, or three members to a show at once, many slammed the agency for not sending Huh Yunjin to a single show.

It was also discovered that Huh Yunjin is the only member with a singular brand deal. While Sakura is currently only an ambassador for one brand, Primera, she hosts her own show, "Fearless Kkura," which provides her with more visibility and ad deals. Her show is also able to get PPL (paid product placements), which earns her money.

Chaewon promotes three brands: MakeUpForEver, Jim Beam, and HyeMiLeeYeChaePa. Kazuha represents Etude House, Calvin Klei, and Lador. Lastly, Hong Euncha is the face of Kirsch and Calamee. She also has her own show, "Eunchae's Star Diary," which often gets sponsored by different brands.

Meanwhile, Huh Yunjin does not have her own show. She is the face of the cosmetics brand WakeMake.

With less visibility on shows and fewer brand deals, FEARNOTS are slamming the company for mistreating Huh Yunjin. They believe she is unable to show her full potential and is not experiencing the same success as her members as a result. Many are urging the company to put Huh Yunjin in more shows and allow her to work with more brands.
