Shuhua has been on hiatus since February and has returned to Taiwan for rest. However, despite being on hiatus, netizens claimed to have seen Shuhua out and about in various different places, leading many to wonder when she will return to her idol duties.

Most recently, Shuhua was seen in New Zealand.

Back on February 8, 2024, CUBE Entertainment announced that Shuhua would be going on a temporary hiatus.

In their statement, it was revealed that Shuhua had visited the hospital due to constant dizziness, which was caused by a decline in her physical condition.

Though the idol expressed a strong desire to continue with her activities, she received medical advice and ultimately decided to suspend all her schedules to focus on rest and recovery.

On March 19, 2024, foren media outlet Star.Setn released an exclusive report on Shuhua's recent happenings.

The female idol was seen strolling the streets of New Zealand with Taiwanese actor Chen Bolin. The female idol was reportedly seen holding an action camera in her hand. Another cast member of the show was seen alongside them.

The Taiwanese community showed keen interest as photos of Chen Bolin and Shuhua together surfaced.

Taiwanese netizens speculate that Shuhua may be appearing on the Taiwanese travel variety show "出去一下 What a Trip," which is hosted by Chen Bolin.

Reports of Shuhua being seen are not new since her hiatus was announced. Local media previously reported on March 2 that Shuhua was spotted in a department store in Taiwan. Following this report, claims of sightings at night markets, airports, amusement parks, and equestrian centers also surfaced.
