GOT7 Youngjae Leaves Sublime Artist Agency After 3 Years
On April 2, Sublime Artist Agency released an official statement declaring Youngjae's departure from the company.
According to the agency, Sublime engaged in a thorough discussion with the GOT7 member and soloist. Ultimately, an agreement to finish the effectiveness of his exclusive contract with the company was decided.
"After a long discussion with GOT7 Youngjae about his future activities, we have agreed to respect each other's opinions and end the exclusive contract," Sublime shared.
The company then expressed its gratitude to Youngjae for his hard work and dedication. Sublime added that the agency will look forward to Youngjae's future endeavors, and thanked the fans who supported Youngjae along the way.

In other news, it was announced that all GOT7 members have departed their longtime agency JYP Entertainment on January 11, 2021. The agency shared that their departure was concluded ahead of their contract expiration on January 19, 2021.
"GOT7 has been a global idol group representing K-pop for over seven years since their debut on January 16, 2014," JYPE shared.
It added, "We would like to express our thanks to all our supporters, including GOT7, for being part of the growth of K-pop and JYP, and 'I GOT7,' who have been the driving force behind the group's activities as shown in their unconditional support."
On January 20, 2021, Sublime Artist Agency officially announced the inclusion of Youngjae through its official SNS.
