RIIZE recently performed at the music festival "The Performance," and are currently drawing mixed reactions for their vocals during their set.

On April 14, 2024, RIIZE was one of the seven boy groups who took the stage at the K-Arena Yokohama as part of "The Performance" line-up.

The music festival was live streamed for fans who were unable to attend. Soon after the event, videos of RIIZE's performance were shared online.

Now, Korean netizens are discussing RIIZE and their live vocals.

RIIZE Draws Divided Responses For Live Vocals in Latest Performance

On April 14, 2024, a post titled "RIIZE who is getting into controversy for being 'just as bad as LE SSERAFIM' for their latest live performance," was shared on the popular South Korean online community forum Instiz.

In the post, the original poster (OP) shared a tweet from a BRIIZE. The video is of the group's performance of "Memories" during "The Performance."

Soon after the post was uploaded, Korean netizens flooded the comment section.

Many claimed the group's performance was a total failure, noting how the group chose not to sing the chorus live and relied on the backing track. Several commenters also wondered why some people were saying they sounded good, lamenting over what is considered good or bad when it comes to idol performances.

However, a large number of netizens did not have a problem with RIIZE's performance. They stated that they did well and that they did not deserve the criticism. Others pointed out that they might not have performed exceptionally well, but they are nowhere near LE SSERAFIM's level.

For reference, LE SSERAFIM is currently being criticized for their live vocals during their Coachella performance.
