Se7en's Fan Cafe Is Disappointed, But Denies Turning Anti

Now that fans have had a couple days to digest the news that singer Se7en was revealed to have visited a massage parlor with Mighty Mouth's Sangchu while the two were on active duty in the military, the swirl of rumors surrounding the incident is beginning to settle down.

On June 25 an investigative news program on SBS, In Depth 21, released footage of two celebrity military visiting two massage parlors after a concert event for soldiers. It was later revealed that Se7en and Sangchoo were the celebrity soldiers involved in the incident.

Immediately the reaction from the press and fans was one of outrage and disappointment.

Members of Se7en's fan cafe were some of the harshest reactors, sharing their feelings in message board comments ranging from "This is not why I bought your CDs for ten years" to "I feel so betrayed" to "I hate him so much."

Many other fans left the cafe altogether saying that they could no longer be a fan of Se7en after hearing of his lewd behavior.

Because the online posts were so severe and immediate, the media soon caught wind and began reporting that the online fan cafe had kicked the singer out and had turned into an anti cafe instead.

However, these reports have been greatly exaggerated.

Farineli, the official fan cafe for the YG Entertainment singer with over 130,000 members, has denied the rumors.

Several highly active members have gone public to explain that some fans were merely questioning whether or not Se7en should be removed, and that he was not, in fact, kicked out.

The fan club says that the media blew their internal conversations out of proportion.

However, some rather drastic measures were taken.

First, a large wave of fans left the cafe entirely, some even posted goodbye messages to the other members explaining why they could no longer support the entertainer.

In an effort to manage all the media attention they are receiving, the cafe also closed its message boards so that only VIP members are allowed to comment and view conversation threads. They also asked members not to screen shot any of the contents and release the information anywhere else.

Meanwhile, Se7en's senior, and partner in crime, Sangchu has come forward to take responsibility for the incident, insisting that it was his idea and that his 'younger brother' Se7en was merely following his idea.
