Psy Reaches 3 Billion Views On YouTube Channel, Prepares For Big Things In The Near Future

By now, just about everyone has seen Psy's "Gangnam Style" and knows it is the most viewed YouTube video of all time at over 1.7 billion views since its release one year ago.

His record-breaking sophomore single "Gentleman" has racked up another half a billion or so views in the past three months alone and altogether the Korean rapper's official YouTube channel has brought in over 3 billion views.

Psy is only the third person in history to reach the 3 billion mark on the popular video sharing site, following closely behind Rihanna and Justin Bieber.

Following worldwide promotions of "Gentleman," Psy has begun working on a new album which is said to involve several very high profile collaborations and is rumored to involve several English-language songs in order to build upon his large international fan following.

Furthermore, the Korean entertainer has recently signed an exclusive deal with WME last week. The company will represent the singer in all markets outside of his native South Korea.

According to an official statement, WME plans to "expand his musical endeavors" and "pursue opportunities across all entertainment platforms, including film, television, endorsements, books and digital media."

Psy will still remain under his Korean label YG Entertainment and will retain Scooter Braun as his manager.
