Korean Male Celebrities That Ticked Off The Military

There are two kinds of male celebrities-ones who humbly do the mandatory enlistment with no controversies or scandals or others who shame their country with their BS and nonsensical cowardly ways. Over the years, there's been a handful of Korean celebrities who just couldn't handle military manliness and attempted to either opt out of serving their time or went to the military but skimpily served. Here are the Korean male celebrities that left a bad taste in everyones' mouths.

I'm a huge fan of Rain, I am and I love him as an artist. Unfortunately he proved to be less than a man when he stirred the controversial pot of naughty boy-ness when it surfaced that he was taking off loads of time to meet up with his "most beautiful woman in the country" Kim Tae Hee when he was supposed to be serving the country. The rules forbid him from having private meetings when he was off-base on official military business but apparently Rain thought he was above those rules and went on merry little dates with his actress lover. Currently, two Korean Assemblymen strongly feel that he should be forced to re-list. I agree!

Solo singer Se7en sent shockwaves across the country when news of him sneaking into adult massage parlors floated into the ears of the press. People were up in arms about he and Sangchus' visits mainly because they were both serving in the military. As punishment, the South Korean Ministry of National Defense has ordered both singers and ten other celebrities who misbehaved to go back to their posts on the frontline. Looks like Sangchu and Se7ens' hormones got the best of them. Little did they know a night out would lead to tainting their clean images.

MC Mong used to be one of my favorite rappers and though he made a huge mistake, a part of me wishes he will be forgiven for his actions in the future. To make a long story short, the rapper was caught for violating Korea's military service law. Supposedly his teeth were extracted purposely to evade his military draft. Apparently it was true, when four dentists came out in support of MC Mong's statements. Nonetheless, he was sentenced to a suspended jail term of 6 months, probation for one year, and 120 hours of community service for "deliberately delaying enlistment on false grounds." The artist has not been seen in the public eye since his court dates.
