Soon Psy will be able to add yet another award to his ever-growing collection.

On September 3 the international K-Pop sensation will be presented with the Best Singer award at the 40th annual Korea Broadcast Awards.

The awards ceremony will be held at the KBS Hall in the Seoul neighborhood of Yeouido.

Other people to be awarded this year with honors include Son Hyun Joo who will receive the Best Actor distinction and Shin Dong Yeop who will take home the prize for Best Show Host.

KBS2 TV's series My Husband Got A Family and the SBS drama Chaser will also be acknowledged as Best Drama Series (long and short run, respectively).

Psy rose to fame outside of his native South Korea in 2012 with the record-breaking single "Gangnam Style."  Earlier this year he was back in the spotlight for his follow up single "Gentleman" which followed also smashed records around the world.

At the moment, Psy is busy working on his upcoming seventh studio album expected to be released sometime in September.
