Female rapper and leader of 2NE1, CL, often posts pictures of herself on her Instagram - sometimes several in one day.

She gives her followers and fans a glimpse into her daily life, whether she is hard at work or playing hard with her friends.

The latest addition to her album of pictures, however, has gotten some attention that is not so great.

On August 22, CL uploaded a photo of herself in a hookah lounge smoking out of a water pipe.

The image has sparked a lot of mixed feelings from the public ranging from indifference to disappointment.

Some comments left by followers express the health concerns related to smoking while other people have left messages saying how cool and relaxed she looks blowing smoke while wearing dark shades.

Many, however, are outraged - saying that she is condoning tobacco use and setting a bad example.

While CL might not be giving people the best example to follow, others are asking if she really is doing anything terrible?

The range of comments include, "How irresponsible," "I'm so disappointed in you, CL," "Who cares?" and "It's just hookah, not drugs - everybody relax!"

But, of course, CL is not the only K-Pop idol to gain attention after smoking pictures were revealed to the public.

Most recently, JYJ member Yoochun started a bit of a controversy after he was caught smoking a cigarette with a few friends earlier this week. It was quickly pointed out by netizens that he had avoided serving active military duty due to his asthma-related health issues.
