Daniel Lee's Allkpop Colleagues Defend VP Following Accusations He Leaked Nude Photos Of His Ex-Girlfriend Ailee

Two colleagues of allkpop Vice President of Content Daniel Lee took to the microblogging website Twitter earlier this week, to defend the media mogul from accusations that he published unauthorized nude photos of the singer Ailee, who he used to date.

According to executives from Ailee's record label YMC Entertainment, Lee, who also works for allkpop's parent company 6Theory Media, got ahold of the photos after the singer had them taken for a potential underwear modeling job, that turned out to be a scam.

In a statement issued Monday, YMC Entertainment alleged that Lee convinced Ailee to send him the nude photos so that he could offer her advice her on what to do about the incident.

6Theory Media CEO Johnny Noh denies that Lee was the source of the unauthorized nude photos, which allkpop published on Sunday.

"Allkpop was not the source of the leaks, we can't take credit," Noh tweeted just hours after the site published the Ailee shots. "But don't be surprised if in the New Year we blow some doors open."

According to the 6Theory CEO, allkpop was just doing what a news publication does.

"It's our job to report on everything, good or bad," Noh wrote. "If we were to filter and blow rainbows up everyone's asses, no one would appreciate that."

Yet, the next day he admitted the website had stirred up a hornets nest by posting the unauthorized photos of Ailee in a post that as of Thursday morning had received over 2.5 million views.

"Just shaking my head, this is a complete mess," Noh tweeted on Monday. "Wish it never happened to either side."

When Noh's Twitter follower Steve Lee suggested Noh and his allkpop colleagues "might have to wear hats and sunglasses in public soon," the 6Theory CEO dismissed the notion.

"[Steve, it's] not at that level man," Noh replied.

Yet for Twitter user Andi Wulandhary, it's way past that level.

"Utter bastard," she wrote Tuesday in response Lee and Noh's online exchange. "May your soul burn in hell you fucking ugly creature. Daniel Lee too."

Matt Kim is a former allkpop employee. In a Twitter post on Sunday, he defended his former company.

"I like how people are blaming allkpop for the leak when all they did was break the story," Kim wrote. "Don't kill the messenger folks.

Allkpop reps claim they have email proving the nude photos of Ailee came from a Canadian citizen who originally tried to sell them to the website's editors back in June.
