One of the Big 3, JYP Entertainment, is preparing for the debut of a new girl group AND 2 male idol groups.

On December 19th, a music source revealed that JYP is planning to debut a dance girl group to follow in the steps of miss A and Wonder Girls, sometime in early 2014. The new girl group will be made of 6 members, and is traveling to and from JYP's practice room and recording studios. They say the girls are practicing hard and sweating it out during the practice sessions.

A music rep stated, "They're planning to debut 2 male idol groups and 1 female group. The new groups will go through a more systematic training system than any other team that has already debuted from JYP."

There are great expectations for the new girl group because of JYP boasts of their training systems and capabilities. There is also a lot of curiosity as to what kind of colors the new group will showcase.

Another source stated, "The 6 member dance group is busy preparing to debut next year. We are confident that they will be the best group in terms of beauty and skills."

It's already been 4 years since JYP debuted a girl dance group, the last being miss A's debut in 2010. Recently JYP has been debuting audition singers such as Park Ji Min and Baek Yerin, rather than idol teams such as 2PM and miss A.

After the number of members in the new group was revealed, there's a lot of talk as to whether the new dance team will be able to continue the successful line of JYP artists such as Park Ji Yoon, Wonder Girls, miss A, and Sunmi. Since Sun got married and hasn't been participating in Wonder Girls activities, many wonder if this will be JYP's new group will be able to fill that void.

Before JYP debuts the girl group next year, they are planning to debut a male idol group first. The new male idol group 5Live will most likely debut early next year. 5Live released the OST "Lovely" for KBS 2TV's drama "Pretty Man" on November 20th, and has already begun recruiting music fans.

According to JYP Entertainment, 5Live is composed of the very members that starred in the September 13th episode of tvN's "WIN: Who Is Next." They held a battle against YG Entertainment's trainees, and revealed their faces for the first time on the show.

Will the new girl group be able to meet the high standards fans have already set? We can only wait to see if they are truly as beautiful and talented as JYP claims.
