IU Nabs The Number 1 Spot On Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100 For Another Week With 'Friday' Featuring HISTORY's Jang Yi Jeong

IU continues her reign over the K-pop charts as her new duet "Friday" with HISTORY singer Jang Yi Jeong remains the number one song on the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100.

"Friday," which debuted last week, ties the Billboard K-pop chart's record for the most number one singles by any artist.

Although the chart was only established in 2011, the distinction puts IU in good company. IU is tied with girl group SISTAR, and pop rock trio Busker Busker with four number one singles over the Billboard K-pop chart's brief history.

Debuting at number two this week on the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 is "My Destiny," solo singer Lyn's contribution to the drama "You Who Came From The Stars."

The song soared to the top of the Korean charts late last month, topping MelOn, Naver, Daum, Olleh, Mnet, Bugs, Soribada, Cyworld and Genie.

Dropping one more place to number three in its third week on the Billboard K-pop chart is record label Jellyfish Entertainment's annual holiday-themed single "Winter Confession."

Billboard credits the song to singer Sung Si Kyung, "Winter Confession" but the track also features vocals from artists Park Hyo Shin, Seo In Guk and the members of VIXX, all on the Jellyfish roster.

And another new entry to the Billboard chart is Zia's "I Thought This Was It," debuting at number four.

Rounding out the Billboard K-pop top five this week is R&B quartet Brown Eyed Soul's new single "You Are So Beautiful."

The song, which debuted last week at number three, is part of the group's new collection of digital singles entitled "Thank Your Soul."
