YG Entertainment will come into 2014 with full force.

Taeyang will be the first YG artist to be promoted in 2014 with PSY and Big Bang making a comeback early 2014 as well. Add the fact that WINNER and Akdong Musician are looking to make their debut into the music scene as early as spring of 2014, and it is clearly to see that YG is aiming to take the lead early in the music scene by releasing all the anticipated artists in the first quarter of 2014. What is also amazing is that they will come out almost all at the same time. Most smaller entertainment companies take a devastatingly long amount of time to release one artist, but YG is releasing five enormous albums at the same time.

As previously mentioned, Taeyang will be the lead-off YG artist in 2014. He will release his solo album, which was anticipated for winter of 2013 but delayed to spring of 2014. It's largely kept a secret, but as Taeyang's pre-release single "Ringa Linga" showed us, this album will be a very high quality release.

Taeyang won't be going away after he wraps up his solo act, however, as he will come back immediately with Big Bang. With each member showing evolved skills through their individual solo albums, their coming together can only mean that their original synergy will be accentuated. However, there is a monkey wrench that might cause a delay to this, which is Taeyang's debut into the American market. His song "Ringa Linga" generates a huge interest from American entertainment companies who invited Taeyang to pursue a career as an American artist. This may delay Big Bang's comeback.

YG's top project of 2014, WINNER, is planning on debuting in February, which will be when their Mnet program "WINNER TV" ends. By debuting shortly after "WINNER TV" ends, WINNER can capitalize on the fans' continued support and love which started with "Who Is Next: WIN" back in October of last year. The one thing that may delay WINNER's debut is the fact that WINNER members write their own songs - this may cause a slight delay in plans because of the creative process that goes into writing their own songs.

Akdong Musician is also planning on making their official debut in February. They will debut on the stage of "K-Pop Star Season 3". It is unclear whether it will be Akdong Musician's official debut because YG is so heavily burdened with other projects. With every single that Akdong Musician released dominating the charts, it will be interesting to see if their new single will also have that kind of following.

Lastly, there is the international superstar PSY. He will most likely debut on the Korean stage in February as well. He is already filming the music video for his title song. He's loaded up his new albums with more songs than ever, stating that he wants to "perform more than two songs for the year". Snoop Dogg makes an appearance in one of his singles as well.
