Doctor Who, Game Of Thrones Crossover: Season 8 Could Feature Jenna Coleman Boyfriend Richard Madden?

As "Doctor Who" begins filming season 8 and "Game of Thrones" prepares for its season 4 return, a bit news could see a crossover between both franchises.

Recently Zap2it interviewed "Game of Thrones" Richard Madden, who famously portrayed Robb Stark up until the gruesome Red Wedding. During the interview, Madden was asked about ever being involved in "Doctor Who."

“I mean, I love Doctor Who. I’ve always loved Doctor Who, but… we’ll just see what happens in the future.”

Richard Madden is currently dating none other than Jenna Coleman, who portrays Clara on "Doctor Who" and is the companion of the latest Doctor by Peter Capaldi in season 8.

According to the Daily Mail, Jenna Coleman and Richard Madden met in Budapest in 2011, when Coleman was filming the mini-series "Titanic," and Madden was filming for the BBC drama "Birdsong."

Should Madden appear on "Doctor Who" season 8, it would not be the first time Steven Moffat has cast familial relations on the same show.

Most famously, Moffat recruited Martin Freeman's wife to play John Watson's love interest Mary Morsten on the BBC show "Sherlock."

"I've done it a few times with Amanda before, but nothing as sustained as this," Martin told Access Hollywood. "We're playing partners in the show. She's great."

"I love it. It made the day go even quicker. It made it even more enjoyable. We have a natural kind of rhythm and chemistry together that I love. I really appreciate that part of my day. It made it easier."

Coincidentally, Freeman has also been rumored to appear on "Doctor Who."

"Generally speaking we just don't like to go outside our tiny circle very much," admitted Moffat according to Doctor Who TV.
