As "Once Upon a Time" season 3 continues its epically long hiatus, spoilers regarding the fate of your favorite fairytale characters have been revealed.

According to co-creator Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis, "Once Upon a Time" season 3 will begin its mid-season premiere with a particular focus on the love triangle that is Emma, Hook, and Neal.

While Hook and Emma had chemistry "Once Upon a Time," Hook will not so easily win over Emma with her memory loss.

"Emma's not easily charmed by him in the real world," said Kitsis. "I'll just say that!"

Many fans noticed that it was not Neal, but Hook who arrives in New York City for Emma, and spoilers confirm that there is a distinct reason for that. The current fan theory is that Neal is among the "family" in trouble, according to Hook.

And look out for a reunion between Neal and Emma to be less than romantic as well.

"In Emma's current mind. the last time she saw Neal, that guy f---ing let her go to jail," Kitsis pointed out. "She doesn't have the benefit of re-meeting him in New York."

Meanwhile, spoilers confirm that the second half of "Once Upon a Time" season 3 will divulge a lot of backstory for the Wicked Witch portrayed Rebecca Mader.

"Whether that unfolds in Storybrooke, the Enchanted Forest or Oz—or all three—remains to be seen," teased Horowitz. Mader's Witchy incarnation is also an original creation rather than a "Once Upon a Time" rendition of Miss Gulch, Elphaba, or another iconic Witch.

And in case there's any doubt, spoilers confirm that the second half of "Once Upon a Time" season 3 is all about Regina against the Wicked Witch.

"Wicked Versus Evil! That's the second half of our season," said Kitsis.

But how will Regina meet her true love Robin Hood? To no one's surprise, it will be complicated.

"What does it look like for her to be given a second chance? How does she react to it," asked Kitsis. Reportedly, Regina will be a bit preoccupied with issues "like the loss of her son, and trying to destroy that Wicked Witch!"
