Jessica Lange Head Of American Horror Story Carnival Circus? Fans Compare Evan Peters Quicksilver To Avengers 2 Incarnation As Season 4 Cast Awaits Confirmation

"American Horror Story" season 4 may be just beginning, but it seems like the theory of the series heading to a carnival or circus of some kind.

During a podcast with Nerdist Writers Panel, "American Horror Story" writer and co-executive producer Douglas Petrie accidentally spilled the secret that season 4 will indeed be set around a carnival circus.

"That's the idea, that's very roughly the idea."

Although Ryan Murphy has said that "no one has completely guessed what it is," it is safe to say that a carnival or circus will play some part in "American Horror Story" season 4.

But what does a 1950s German Marlene Dietrich type character have to do with a circus or carnival?

Some fans believe that Lange will be in charge of the circus act, which will also see the return of Sarah Paulson.

Sadly, no other cast members from previous "American Horror Story" has been confirmed besides Paulson and Lange. Popular names like Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, and Taissa Farmiga are quickly moving on to other movie and TV projects.

Peters, for example, will be seen in the upcoming "X-Men: Days of Future Past" as Quicksilver. Interestingly enough, Quicksilver will also be seen in "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron," portrayed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

In a recent poll by IGN, fans voted on which Quicksilver they preferred, based on preliminary photos and concept art.

Sadly for Evan Peters, nearly 94% of the votes were in favor of Aaron Taylor-John's Quicksilver.

Hopefully he returns to "American Horror Story" season 4, where his fans truly belong!
