"2NE1 plans to appear as guests on the show's season finale to watch the final participants to walk on the runway near the Banpo Riverside Park on April 2," the source said.

"I heard that 2NE1 were invited to the show because they are not only a leading girl group in the K-Pop scene, but also fashionistas with a great sense of fashion."

"For the show's final season to be filmed in Korea, the OnStyle channel submitted an application for a government-funded program called Location Incentive, offered by the Korean Film Council, to make it possible," the YG press release stated.

The show is reportedly filming five episodes in Seoul within a two-week span at locations including Gyeongbok Palace, Gwanghwamun Square, Cheonggyecheon, Seoul City Hall, Gwangjang Market, Sinchon, and Dongdaemun.

The "America's Next Top Model" is not 2NE1's first appearance on a major US reality show.
