Actors Lee Min Ho and Kim Soo Hyun are top Hallyu stars that have amazingly high CF salaries in China.

The two actors are extremely popular in China after they appeared in SBS dramas "The Heirs" and "My Love from the Star." Now that the center of the Hallyu wave is carrying over from Japan to China, they're carving a new space for themselves in Japan.

Lee Min Ho and Kim Soo Hyun's popularity is most evident in their CF. They're spearheading a competitive partnership in the Chinese CF market. Not only that, there are companies that are taking exceptional measures to recruit these two Hallyu stars.

It's been revealed that Lee Min Ho and Kim Soo Hyun receive about $2 million per CF. However China's normal CF contract is 2 years. So when we consider that in terms of yearly salaries, it's about $1-1.2 million, which is far more than Rain or Jang Dong Gun earned in China.

One Chinese CF agent stated, "Korean stars have 2 year CF contracts in China. That's why it's hard to directly compare their CF salaries. However, if we compensate for the difference in contract terms, then Lee Min Ho and Kim Soo Hyun are receiving the greatest compensation for CFs."

What's noteworthy is that both of these actors are looking to sign 1 year contracts in China. It's an expression of confidence and expectation that their popularity will rise even more in the next year.

The same agent continued, "These two people have the highest payout out of Korean stars (in China). Of course, it's still not as much as Chinese stars Jackie Chan and Andy Lau. But depending on their activities, their worth could rise significantly."

Lee Min Ho is currently a model for Kia, global fashion brand Fila, Chinese companies Taobao, Aishang, and Senmir."

Kim Soo Hyun is representating global brand Coca Cola and Samsung.

One other Chinese rep stated, "Since there are over 1.3 billion people live in China, the CF exposure is immense here. Being able to influence 1.3 people means that they can also have a great influence worldwide as well."
