MC Mong Is Finally Coming Back! Here’s The A To Z

It's all up to MC Mong now.

MC Mong has almost decided to make a comeback this year, but the question still remains as to which agency he will choose. Many agencies and music officials have sent love calls. All he needs to do is choose one.

As things are right now, it's expected that he will choose a large agency with a significant scale. That's because a lot of work remains to be resolved, including his contract. Since it's a big risk, there must be a management with a strong system to make things work.

It's common knowledge that MC Mong has shown significant interpersonal relationships with the public in the past. Because of the many difficulties he met in his celebrity activities and even in his everyday life, it wasn't easy for him to make a comeback.

The possibility of his comeback seemed at an all-time high last holiday season. He went into detailed song work then, and there were rumors among other musicians that he was planning for a comeback in 2014. However, even up to that point, his official position was "not yet." There were no more specific conditions revealed at the time.

But agencies that are familiar with his musical capabilities couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture MC Mong for his comeback. MC Mong has especially close relations with many agencies, so it comes as no surprise that he's been receiving love calls from numerous agencies.

Starting with Well Made Yedang, other mid to large sized companies has set up meetings with MC mong. Beginning 2 years ago and even just recently he held those meetings. The staff members who spent difficult times with MC Mong are now scattered in different agencies, including Leessang Company, Woollim Entertainment, and BNT Entertainment. Duble Sidekick, who has a special relationship with MC Mong, is currently one of the hottest producing teams.

One idol rep who met with MC Mong stated, "I, as well as many other agencies with a history of ties to MC Mong, knew about MC Mong's comeback.

There's a high chance that he will choose a large agency. Of course we can't say that all agencies are good. There are still unresolved matters between MC Mong and his previous agency IS Entertainment. This agency was responsible for SG Wannabe and Min Kyung Hoon as well, but they're almost inactive. MC Mong, the distributor down payment, pre-payment, and the huge amount of money that's entangled with the singer makes it difficult for just agency to jump in and resolve the matter. The new agency has to be able to handle all of those issues. That's why it's most likely that MC Mong will choose a large agency.

One rep that wanted to sign MC Mong stated, "It's a big project to assume that established relationships will help acquire the singer. That's because it will be a huge project that requires a lot of money and systems." Yet another rep stated, "Since there's a lot of issues still to be resolved with the previous company, it's not a matter that can be decided easily."

So why are agencies still going after MC Mong? Despite the opposition and risky project, agencies are still seeking after the singer. That's because MC Mong has a unique popularity with the public. He was able to use hip hop based songs and add Korean melodies to create hit songs that swept the charts. And even now it's being said that he has retained a significant level of musical competence.

Not only that, the broadcasting industry hasn't completely forgotten about MC Mong. Although his broadcast comeback will be an even more difficult and complex process, there's a very large chance that he will once again emerge as one of the hottest broadcasters. It's been made known that the personal relationships he built on various entertainment programs are still in effect today.
