JYP expressed his thoughts about rumors surrounding his wife.

On April 28, JYP posted on his Twitter: "Is it reasonable to write articles without proof just because my wife and company owners are related?"

He continued to explain the rumors about his newfound religion: "Anyone who listens to my music or reads my interviews can see where my convictions lie - I've studied many religions for the past few years but I am still an atheist".

"I hope the rootless rumors will die down," he added.

Previously on the same day, rumors that JYP's wife was the niece of Yoo Byung Un, ex-president of Semo Group, spread. Rumors also stated that JYP Entertainment received illegal funds from the company.

JYP Entertainment strongly denied rumors: "It is true that JYP's wife is the niece of Semo Group's ex-president. However, the rumors about illegal funds is ridiculous".

They added: "Not even a cent was added illegally. We remain transparent, and we are not under any investigation regarding this matter. We will ask for severe consequences to those that spread this rumor".
