Mike Tyson Lean Towards Manny Pacquiao Over Floyd Mayweather? Filipino Champ 'Pacman' Draws In Crowd During Outdoor Workout

Mike Tyson thinks that Manny Pacquiao has the style that can defeat Floyd Mayweather in their mega fight in May.

In a YouTube clip, Mike Tyson said that perpetual motion is the key to defeating Floyd Mayweather. But ultimately, style makes fights.

"When you think about the two fighters and the people that gave Pacquiao the most difficult time in his career, only the people that threw over 100 punches a round-[Tim] Bradley, [Juan Manuel] Marquez-Floyd doesn't throw nowhere near 100 punches a round," he said.

"You know what I mean? He's more of a scientific fighter, he really plots a lot and he sits around and he pulls it. [Pacquiao's] all over, trading, moving. ... That's just my opinion. I just don't think he's going to be able to play that plodding skill. [Pacquiao's] like perpetual motion."

According to Sports Illustrated, Manny Pacquiao might have to do more in the mega fight against Floyd Mayweather.

"Against Marquez, Pacquiao was knocked out in the sixth round but threw 256 punches to Marquez's 246. He also landed 37% of those punches to Marquez's 21%. Against Bradley (a 12-round split-decision loss), Pacquiao threw 751 punches to Bradley's 839, but landed 34% to Bradley's 19%," the report said.

"In comparison, Mayweather (47-0, 26 knockouts) has thrown 326, 426 and 505 punches in his last three bouts, all 12-round decisions," SI noted.

Manny Pacquiao's coach Freddie Roach earlier said that their goal is to win every round against Floyd Mayweather.

"If we get the knockout, then that's just a bonus. Floyd will dip into Manny's power. That's the mistake that someone will make against a southpaw. We have to win the first round and take Floyd out of his comfort zone," he said.

Meanwhile, Manny Pacquiao's training in Los Angeles continues to draw a crowd as he prepares for the Floyd Mayweather mega fight on May 2.

"On Day 12 of his road workout Pacquiao was joined by fans as he stretched and pushed himself to the limits as he looks to step up his fitness levels," said Daily Mail.
