K-pop industry finally introduced its first-ever Indonesian K-pop female idol, the pride and honor of Indonesian fans, Dita!

On May 19, the rookie group SECRET NUMBER officially debuted under Vine Entertainment, kicking off with their debut track "Who Dis?," which is capturing lots of interest from the K-pop community.

Eventually, with their debut being hyped by K-pop enthusiasts, their eyes are also paying attention to Dita, being the first-ever Indonesian idol, who was able to debut as a member of a female K-pop group.

Dita Karang, or also known mononymously as Dita, is a '96-liner, born and raised in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. With her passion and love for music and dancing, the then-K-pop star aspirant, who was introduced in the genre through 2NE1's music, decided to train to become an idol.

Before coming to Vine Entertainment and debuting in the rookie group, she left her hometown and flew to New York to enroll in a Korean Entertainment Academy, which was called Born Star Attaining Center Academy.

Also, prior to entering the stardom as well, she was introduced as an excellent dancer through 1 Million Dance Studio, a famous studio in Seoul with over 20 million subscribers, comprising of a group of talented dancers, covering and doing their own rendition of several songs.

With her background in dancing, she eventually became the main dancer of SECRET NUMBER. She is sometimes compared to Lisa, who also overcame the culture-barrier, became a K-pop idol, and is now the main dancer of the huge girl group, BLACKPINK. Other fans are also stunned by her visuals, resembling EXID's Hani.

However, as she's still a rookie idol, netizens are paying close to what skills and ability she can able to bring out then as they continue to rise.Amazingly, as their "Who Dis?" music video is out, she was introduced to the thumbnail. And despite being the main dancer, fans and netizens are also praising her vocals and ability to sing in Korean, with only two years of training.

According to her profile, her favorite artist is the "nation's sweetheart" and actress-singer, IU! In one of her videos, she admitted that she looks up to the soloist, and even shared her favorite song from the artist, which is "Blueming" from the 2019 album "Love Poem." Also, she loves to listen to the track of "nation's girl group" TWICE, too! 

As she holds the title of being the first-ever Indonesian female idol, the spotlight of Korean media was also given to her, asking her about her feelings about being the pride of Indonesian K-pop fans.

Dita then answered, "I am delighted that I am getting a lot of support from Indonesian fans through social media, and by that, I affirm that I would do my best not to disappoint them."

Overall, the debut of SECRET NUMBER receives a massive amount of support from all over the world. Plus, "Who Dis?" MV already gained more than one million views on their first day and continues to rise.

With Dita and other members, Soodam, Jinny, Lea, and Denise, Vine Entertainment is set to introduce a multi-national group that will run into the global market, with members of various nationalities - Japanese, American, Indonesian and Korean.
