BLACKPINK Jennie, Jisoo, MAMAMOO Hwasa & More: Who Dominated Monthly Brand Reputation Ranking The Most?

BLACKPINK member Jennie has proven her influence and brand power after she topped the girl group members brand reputation ranking six times in 2020. The co-member of Lisa, Jisoo and Rose beat other K-pop stars such as Red Velvet member Joy, Oh My Girl member Arin, and MAMAMOO member Hwasa.

Most, if not all, fans can recall that Red Velvet member Joy dominated the ranking in the months of January and February last year. BLACKPINK member Jennie, then, nabbed the top spot in March while MAMAMOO member Hwasa got the first place in April.

Oh My Girl member Arin surprisingly dominated the ranking in the months of May and June. However, BLACKPINK member Jennie was able to get the top spot again in July and August. Jisoo, another member of BLACKPINK, also enjoyed a brief victory when she topped the list in September.

For the months of October, November and December, BLACKPINK member Jennie reigned supreme among other K-pop idols. Her feat comes as no surprise to fans as she was even chosen to become the face of Chanel Korea Beauty, Amore Pacific, KT Corporation and Lotte Confectionery among other huge brands.

As for the girl groups brand reputation ranking, BLACKPINK dominated the list five times in 2020. Jennie, Lisa, Rose and Jisoo had been making headlines months before their much-awaited comeback last year. The phenomenal South Korean girl group topped the list in the months of July, August, September, October and December.

Coming in second place are TWICE and Red Velvet. Sana, Tzuyu, Mina, Naeyeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Jihyo, Chaeyoung, and Dahyun dominated the ranking in June and November. Irene, Yeri, Wendy, Joy and Seulgi, on the other hand, topped the list in January and April.

(G)I-DLE, which is composed of Jeon So Yeon, Cho Mi Yeon, Song Yuqi, Minnie, Yeh Shu Hua and Seo Soo Jin, reigned supreme in February. LOONA, which is composed of ViVi, Go Won, Yves, JinSoul, Kim Lip, YeoJin, Olivia Hye, Chuu, Choerry, HaSeul, HyunJin, and HeeJin, topped the ranking in March. Lastly, Oh My Girl, which is composed of JinE, Jiho, Binnie, Seung Hee, YooA, Arin, Hyujung, and Mimi, dominated the ranking in May.

Meanwhile, some avid followers of BLACKPINK member Jennie have branded her as the "Queen of Chanel" after she secured a deal to endorse the French luxury clothes, goods, and accessory company last year. A representative of the fashion house revealed that the "How You Like That" singer's loyalty to the brand and her trendy fashion choices fit very well with the image of Chanel. It added that having Jennie as the official face of the luxury brand is very timely and relevant for the company since it targets young and trendy millennials.

Chanel started featuring Jennie in its global commercials for its Spring/Summer collection in 2020. In fact, devoted followers of the "Ice Cream" singer took to Instagram to share her outfits for the brand.

In a previous interview with the "BOOMBAYAH" hitmaker, Jennie said she loves styling herself since her younger days. The BLACKPINK member even shared that she feels grateful and stunned by the fact that numerous people appreciate and love her fashion choices.
