EXO's Tao And Kai Reportedly Absent During Portions Of 'EXO'luXion' Concert Due To Injuries

Despite enamoring fans during their "EXO'luXion" concerts, Tao and Kai had some worried due to their absences on certain performances.

Reportedly, Kai suffered a mishap when he fell underneath the stage due to a malfunctioning lift which brought the members up onto the stage. As a result, he was notably absent during the "Growl" performance with the other EXO members.

In addition, Tao was also absent during the "Growl" performance on March 7. However, according to translations provided by someone who allegedly attended the concert, EXO's Suho explained the situation.

"Because Tao has a slight injury, he won't be able to perform all of the songs with us," said Suho according to Lovely Cotton on Twitter.

"But Tao has also worked hard to prepare for this concert, so I hope everyone will enjoy this together."

Last July, Tao suffered a foot injury during the filming of "Laws of the Jungle," which also prevented him from performing full-out in concert.

Tao's absence caused some concerns for EXO fans, especially due to the recent rumors surrounding him leaving the group.

On Tuesday, a Weibo page ignited the rumors by posting that Tao will be nullifying his contract with SM to sign with Chinese agency Huayi Brothers. The rumor alleges that Tao's co-star Huang Xiaoming in the upcoming Chinese film "My Sunshine" introduced the K-pop star to the agency.

Since the allegations became widespread online, Huang took to Weibo to deny the rumors.

"False news could also be sold as widely spread news," wrote Huang according to translations on allkpop. "Looks like some organization is having plans. We should just quietly film a good movie."

Huayi Brothers was also rumored to sign Kris, but was never confirmed due to the ongoing legal battle with SM Entertainment.
