Ronda Rousey, Floyd Mayweather Match On? UFC Star Disses 'Money' At ESPY Awards 2015; Boxing Champ Yet To Respond

Ronda Rousey won the 2015 ESPY Awards for Best Fighter of the Year, beating Floyd Mayweather for the plum, and the UFC women's champ made sure the undefeated boxer knows about it.

During the interview portion at the red carpet, Ronda Rousey held up the ESPY Awards trophy before saying,

"I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once," she said.

Addressing Floyd Mayweather, Ronda Rousey told the camera, "I'd like to see you pretend to not know who I am now" before cracking a laugh.

E! News noted that Ronda Rousey's jab at Floyd Mayweather has a bit of history into it.

It said, "When asked about a year ago if he thought Rousey could beat him in the ring, he said he wasn't familiar with who that was. He did actually apologize, however, just days later, saying in a video shot for MMA website Fight Hub, 'I wish her congratulations. I didn't know who she was the other day. I apologize because I didn't know. I'm used to watching football and basketball. I'm not really into boxing like that.'"

But Ronda Rousey's taunt during the ESPY Awards 2015 wasn't purely trash talk as the UFC women's champ really believes she could beat Floyd Mayweather.

In an interview with Power 106 FM, per SI.com, she said, "I wouldn't even stand up, I wouldn't even be anywhere near him. I would just do like a little army crawl over there, and he would have to run away."

"I would just be skittering after him like the one dude in Bloodsport that was doing the whole monkey crawl fight system. I would do that. I would just bear crawl over there too low for him to hit me, and I'd tackle him down.... I spent a lot of time [on the ground], and I doubt that he does," Ronda Rousey added.
