Fergie Back In The Studio With Black Eyed Peas For New Music? Will.I.Am Spills Details!

The Black Eyed Peas are all still together although Fergie did not appear in their new music video "Yesterday."

According to a report on Reuters, rapper will.i.am said he, apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie were still all good and that they were all recently in the studio to work together.

"We are still one big family," will.i.am told Reuters in Madrid. "We are recording Fergie´s record right now. It's sounding amazing."

"We were in the studio with Fergie last week," the rapper added. "We are going to be in the studio with Fergie this coming up week to finish her new solo project."

It was not specified though if Fergie was also working with them on the BEP 20th anniversary material.

Back in January, Fergie told Digital Spy she was not working with her fellow Black Eyed Peas on their new music.

"I was just in the studio last week and I saw Taboo there, and I heard something will was doing and it was great," she said. "But maybe the guys are doing something? I haven't been in the group for 20 years, so it's more their anniversary of being together for 20 years. So maybe they're putting out an album themselves."

Fergie's new solo album was slated for release this year. The Black Eyed Peas will also release some material this year for their 20th anniversary. One of the them was the recently released song "Yesterday" that paid tribute to hip-hop legends like Run-DMC, Wu Tang Clan and LL Cool J among others.

"We're going to have new music," will.i.am told Capital FM in January. "We'll have a bunch of new experiences."

"I don't want to call them albums, but we'll have some experiences and a bunch of stuff to get the #PeaBodies and the folks that supported us and got us to this point," he added about the Black Eyed Peas new music this year.
