As the newest face for fashion brand Penshoppe, 2NE1's Sandara Park has been giving interviews regarding her latest endorsement deal.

Philippine newspaper Inquirer sat down with the idol, known to many simply as Dara, and inquired about her views on fashion, and she gave candid answers that reveal her favorite kinds of clothes.

When asked about her personal style, Dara likes to pick out one-of-a-kind fashion items that not a lot of people are wearing. She's also a fan of effortless clothes.

"I love something unique that others won't even wear. But I also like simple, basic items with cute details," she reportedly said, based on the English translations from fan site Oh Dara.

The idol then pointed to the shirt she was wearing during the interview, which had a cute cat design.

Dara also divulged her latest fashion obsession: "Skinny roll-up jeans and wearing sneakers or flats that are unique."

Given her laidback personal style, Dara readily admitted that she would not really be caught wearing sexy outfits like a bikini.

"They are not suited for me. I'm not comfortable [wearing those outfits]," she said. Instead, Dara would prefer to don rash guards while swimming in the beach, which she noted was not only trendy but also prevented sunburn.

Dara also described her experience during the fashion photoshoot with Penshoppe and why she chose to represent the brand.

"It was super fun. It was a bit hot at the rooftop but the pictures came out very prettily, so it wasn't hard," Dara said of the photo shoot.

As for any updates on 2NE1 group activities, Dara said that "yeah, we're all doing individual activities for now."

Dara has been gaining more experience as an actress under YG Stage in recent months, having finished filming two web dramas, Dr. Ian and We Broke Up. She has also been reported to be starring first movie as the female lead for the Korean adaptation of Begin Again.
