2NE1 Comeback On Hold As Park Bom Continues 'Time Off For Reflection'

Fans have been asking when 2NE1 will resume their group activities, but it seems their comeback is still far off as YG Entertainment gives member Park Bom more personal time.

YG founder Yang Hyun Suk was interviewed recently, and when asked when asked about 2NE1's group comeback plans, he said, "Not planning 2NE1's new song yet, Park Bom needs time off for reflection," reports Netizenbuzz.

In the meanwhile, the agency is funneling its resources in launching CL as an American artist with her upcoming solo debut, reports Allkpop.

"As of now, we are focusing on CL's American debut. After she does well [in America], we will think of [plans for] 2NE1. 2NE1 is contracted until next year."

This fall, CL will be releasing her Lifted EP, which will be a precursor to her full-length album launch.

What worries observers is that time may be running out for the group to properly prepare for another comeback before their contracts expire in 2016.

As CL pursues a solo career stateside and Park Bom continues to reflect, the other two 2NE1 members, Sandara Park and Minzy have been keeping busy with their individual activities.

Sandara Park has been on a hot streak of acting roles, the most recent of which is a lead turn in the KBS drama Missing Korea opposite actor Kim Jeong Hoon.

Minzy, meanwhile, has been spotted sharpening her dance moves with her new studio, and has been interacting more with fans, including hosting special Q&A sessions on Instagram.
