Nick Jonas, the recently single and ready mingle, may have just relegated Kate Hudson to a one-night stand. Seeing how “Levels” singer has been bombarded with dating and girlfriend rumors since his breakup, he may want to take things slowly.

According to ET Canada, Nick Jonas relegated his weekend with Kate Hudson as just one of his flings as a young single guy.

He said, 'I'm 23, single and loving life. I'm just trying to have as much fun as possible, and meet people that are interesting to me, and that inspire me in some way, and bring something to the table.”

This means that he doesn’t see anything progressing with Kate Hudson, with whom he was seen hooking up last week.

According to TMZ, “Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas… were all over the place -- together -- this weekend, first at Disney World in Orlando and the next day at brunch in Miami. Kate -- who's 36 -- went to Nick's show at the House of Blues in Orlando Saturday night. Oh, right, he's 23. It kinda makes sense. She was probably his jam growing up, and she's still just as hot.”

The fact that “Chains” singer is choosing to turn a blind eye to these sightings means that he definitely isn’t ready for a serious girlfriend or dating game.

But the fact that Nick Jonas just got approved by Neil Patrick Harris may have helped him at least hook up with Kate Hudson.

According to Just Jared, Neil Patrick Harris named Nick Jonas as his crush.

“How I Met Your Mother” actor said, “He was good-looking even before it was allowed to think he was good-looking. It was a bit of a problem, you had to wait until he turned 19 to 20. And then you were like, ‘what is happening!’”

But it is true that post breakup with Olivia Culpo and getting his dating history in order, Nick Jonas’ career has been on the rise.
