Camila Cabello is single and ready to mingle. But despite being rumored to be dating Shawn Mendes and being a part of a famous girl band, she said it was still not easy to meet guys and date.

In an interview on "On Air With Ryan Seacrest," the Fifth Harmony singer spilled about the difficulty of dating.

"I wish," she said when Ryan Seacrest asked in September if guys simply walk up to her and fellow bandmates to ask them out. "Make life a lot easier."

"Or maybe we just need better flirting skills," she added about the struggle with dating.

Ryan Seacrest apparently teased Camilla Cabello to Shawn Mendes as well in the middle of the chat. But the Fifth Harmony singer simply shut off the rampant rumors while seemingly gushing about the "Stitches" singer as well.

"We're super, super close friends," Cabello said about the "Stitches" singer. "He's such an amazing guy."

The Fifth Harmony member has been vocal about the type of guy that she wanted in her life following her split from "first love" Austin Mahone.

"I think it just needs to be a good person," she shared to Latina. I was young and naïve and stupid. But because I'm a good girl, I tend to fall for the bad boy persona, and it ends up biting me in the butt. They end up not knowing how to treat me, and I end up completely devastated. I just need to find someone who is a good person with good values and who is focused."

Gossip about Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes were big in September due to their closeness. But as soon as it was speculated in several entertainment sites that they might be a new couple, they both denied the dating rumors.

"Me and Camila are very good friends," the "Stitches" singer told SugarScape. "She's amazing, she's so funny and so awesome and so enthusiastic. She will bring any negative situation you have and make it positive which is really cool."
