Girl's Day held a successful first showcase in Taipei, Taiwan.

On Oct. 30, 2,000 fans filled Taipei's TICC theater to attend Girl's Day's first showcase in the country. For 100 minutes, the group sang a total of 12 songs, which included their chart-topping hits "Expectation," "Twinkle Twinkle," "Female President," "Something," and "Darling."

Dream T Entertainment revealed the excitement of their fans in Taiwan and the successful first showcase.

"We were surprised because so many fans came to the girls' first promotional event in Taiwan," said the agency, as reported by Allkpop.

Ahead of Yura's special day (Nov. 6), the fans wished her a early birthday, which brought tears to her eyes.

"Fans also celebrated the birthday of Yura, and the enthusiasm from everyone led to her weeping tears of joy," their agency said.

Girl's Day is now focusing on the overseas market, having released their first Japanese album Darling on Sept. 30.

Aside from Girl's Day holding a successful showcase in Taiwan, member Hyeri is now getting ready to act in the upcoming tvN drama Reply 1988. The drama is scheduled to broadcast Friday, Nov. 6.
