Black Sabbath To Have Bill Ward On Their Final Tour? New Album As A Farewell Gift For Fans?

Black Sabbath is expected to go on their final tour as a band next year and the group has a few surprises lined up for their fans.

In a report by Loud Wire, Black Sabbath is about to go on tour with two legs, which would start on January and end in February and a second one in August and September.

In addition to that, it has also been revealed, according to rumors, that Black Sabbath would not only go on their final tour but would also record and release a new and final album for their finals in between the two tour legs.

Guitarist Tony Iommi recently revealed in a Birmingham Mail news report that one of the reasons why the Black Sabbath has to stop touring is also because of him, wherein he needs to stop any stress of any forms to prevent his lymphoma from coming back.

"I can't actually do this anymore," Iommi said after surviving the battle with lymphoma, saying that he doesn't want the illness to come back. "My body won't take it much more."

"I don't want that creeping back again. And all the travelling involved in Sabbath tours increasingly takes its toll. That's why we're going out on one last tour, to say our farewells.

"And then it very definitely is the end," he added. "We won't be doing it again."

For the fans of Black Sabbath, however, after the group goes on tour, more music from Ozzy Osbourne could be expected, as stated in a Blabbermouth report.

According to the article, Epic Records president Sylvia Rhone talked about how Osbourne is set to release his own work in the future, which they both called "special" and would go out in time for the Black Sabbath tour.

"It's going to be a really special album," Rhone said. "It's going to be amazing, it's something Ozzy has never done before that he's always wanted to do."
