Corinne Bailey Rae recently revealed that a new album is on its way and that she is currently on the planning stage for her record release.

The "Just Like A Star" singer recently hinted that she is working on a new album via her Instagram account, posting a selfie and a caption that claimed that she is in the planning stage of the new Corinne Bailey Rae album.

"In L.A again escaping the cold and making a plan for my #albumrelease," the post stated.

There are no further details about the creation of the singer's record as of now but more news is expected to come in the following days. Also, release date news and even recording progress updates may come in the next few months.

Meanwhile, despite her new album reports, Corinne Bailey Rae was recently spotted at the Mercury Prize 2015, where she was appointed to be included in the judging panel of the said annual event.

A report from Daily Mail revealed what the singer-songwriter looked like, as she was spotted wearing a red and black patterned dress and a "quirky metallic shoes in teal and red."

"The 36-year-old took to the red carpet with ease," the report from Daily Mail Femail Fashion Insider revealed. "Donning a black and red printed and embellished dress by Miu Miu, Corrine looked sensational. The dress featured swallow print details which have been rather a big motif for this autumn and not just for Miu Miu. Alexander McQueen and Rochas are just a couple of designers of many who sent the print down the runway."

She was in the panel together with Florence & The Machine, Jamie xx and SOAK.

Rae was also nominated in the said event in 2010, where her second record "The Sea" was picked.
