The new Deftones album will be available next year as the band prepares the finishing touches for the record.

In a recent report by NME, Frank Delgado and Abe Cunningham talked about how they are in the process of finishing the mixes for the songs and thinking of the titles for the song and record.

"It's being mixed now," Cunningham said about the new Deftones album. "It started being mixed a couple weeks back. They're actually going tomorrow to go down and listen to mixes and do things and... We're mixing and we still are in the process of album title, artwork, song titles. We haven't even got there yet, but the music's done."

In the same interview, he also confirmed that the record would come out anytime next year.

"It's going to come out in the new year," Delgado said. "We had some dates that were already kind of tentative."

Also, Delgado revealed in another interview, which was reported by Blabbermouth, how they are looking at the upcoming record as something different.

"This one was different," Delgado said of their new Deftones album. "This one was a lot of starting and stopping, which I think is something we would've been scared of before."

After all the new album news for Deftones, singer Chino Moreno meanwhile, revealed in a Kerrang magazine interview, as reported by Loud Wire, that he is starting to like what Justin Bieber has been coming up with lately.

"I actually downloaded this song just yesterday," Moreno talked about the song "What Do You Mean?" "I had to; it's completely unavoidable! It comes on in the car every time I get in it. And you know what? I like it! I really do! I don't know how surprised people will be about that. I think people who know me know that I listen to a lot of corny s-t! I've got no problem with it, so I'll just keep on enjoying this one."
